Indications

Due to significant weight loss, pregnancy or aging, the elasticity of the skin can sometimes reduce. This phenomenon is often noticed on the upper arms. The muscles slack and the skin becomes finer and shows creasing.

Treatment

During an arm lift, excess skin is removed, usually on the inside of the upper arm. We usually try to hide the scar on the inside of the arm, but if there is a lot of excess skin then an incision along the inner arm will be necessary. An arm lift is often combined with liposuction where the subcutaneous fatty tissue is removed.
