ISAPS LABEL
The ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) is the world-wide recognised professional organisation for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
- The Global Care Clinic is one of the few Belgian accredited facilities.
- Dr Nelissen is also listed as ISAPS-Surgeon and he is a qualified ASF Resources Inspector, which means that he is designated as an inspector for ambulatory surgical facilities for patient safety and has taken a course to grant him this designation. However, the above mentioned BSPC accreditation is to be considered as the Belgian standard for accreditation, compared to the more American ISAPS accreditation.

- Experienced and Registered Plastic Surgeon: Dr. Nelissen is a registered Plastic Surgeon in Belgium and in The Netherlands and is registered as ISAPS-surgeon. The title 'Plastic Surgeon' is a legally protected title, recognizable by: the RIZIV/INAMI number ending with the numbers- 210 and the affiliation with the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery. Not to be confused with a "cosmetic doctor" or "aesthetic doctor".
This has a reason: to qualify as Plastic Surgeon a GP must be trained during a minimum of 6 years on top of their medical degree. Plastic Surgeons not only have a more comprehensive view of the human body, but they have a broader and far more extensive range of surgical techniques. - Experienced Anaesthesia: Operations are performed either under local anaesthetic using a light sedation or under general anaesthesia by our experienced anaesthesiologist Dr. Kalinov, with whom we have been working flawlessly for years.
- Quality of our staff: The staff of the Global Care Clinic are all qualified individuals, carefully selected on the basis of the required professional titles and experience. The quality of the doctors, employees and staff is structurally tested and developed.
- Language skills: We offer you competent doctors and friendly and professional staff with the necessary language skills. Languages spoken in the Global Care Clinic: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian.

The motto of the Global Care Clinic is “Beauty through service”, which means that rendering excellent services to the patient is the most important:
- The clinic is equipped with high-tech equipment and no effort or cost were spared to provide the best accomodation for the patients, without resulting in an impersonal "clinic feeling".
- Absolute priority is quality and a personal approach in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Patents quickly feel at ease by the personal approach within the professional entourage.
- Dr. Nelissen takes the time to listen to your expectations and gives honest advice, without any pressure for any treatment whatsoever.
- A clear treatment proposal and an all-in price quotation are submitted after personal consultation in order to avoid later surprises.
- Dr. Nelissen guides each patient personally during the intake, surgery and aftercare. During the post op care he remains available at any time for any questions or worries.
SHORT WAITING TIMES:
- The waiting time for first consulation is generally around 2 weeks.
- Because we own the surgical facilities in-house, most treatments can be done within 2 to 6 weeks following the consultation.
EASY ACCESSIBLE:
The Global Care Clinic Zolder-Hasselt is easily accessible:
- next to the Race Circuit of Zolder (Belgian Limburg),
- in the tri-border area "Belgium – Germany – The Netherlands",
- near the highways E314 (Leuven-Heerlen-Aachen) and E313 (Antwerp-Liège/Luttich),
- near the airports of Maastricht, Eindhoven and Brussels.
Parking: When arriving by car, you don't need to look for parking space. There is always plenty of free parking on the domain itself.
In addition, you can also visit our branch in Knokke (on the Belgian Coast near the Dutch border), which has been opened since 2017, for consultations, certain anti-aging treatments and the MiraDry treatment. Read more information about our locations here.
Privacy AND DISCRETION:
Discretion for postoperative patients or VIP customers is ensured by:
- a separate entrance/exit at the back so that the patient does not have to go through the main waiting room.
- the location of the clinic in a wooded, residential area is an additional guarantee of privacy and discretion.

FAIR PRICE / QUALITY RATIO
The patients of the Global Care Clinic are often pleasantly surprised about the fair price / quality ratio (see Prices), especially in comparison with the surrounding countries (the Netherlands, Germany and England).

- the absence of unnecessary intermediaries (commercial consultants)
- limiting marketing and advertising budgets

As a result, foreign (Dutch, German, English,...) patients also easily find their way to the Global Care Clinic, partly because of the extensive experience and recognition of plastic surgeon Dr. Nelissen in Dutch hospitals (private and university).
- Due to the large number of treatments, we can also negotiate better prices with our suppliers.
